I rarely read a book all the way through. I usually get bored before 50 pages and just skip to the end. Hell Island popped up because I buy similar action-thriller-type books. The title looked interesting, so I clicked the link and viewed the preview pages. I started reading and I was hooked. I ordered the book so I could continue reading.When I received the book, I was a little surprised because the book is only about 110 pages. The author explains why the book is so short and I'll let you read that for yourself. The shortness was really a positive for me, because I was pretty confident that I could finish 110 pages.I started reading the book. I read, and read, and read. I could not put the thing down! It was action packed and suspense packed from page 1 to the last page. The book did not have even one single boring page in the whole book. Hell Island was so fantastic, that it has restored my desire to read. I'm going to order all of Matthew Reilly's other books and I can't wait to get them.
